ONE OF THE MOST DANGEROUS CYCLES THAT ARE IN CHURCHES EVERYWHERE

If you haven’t been listening to the newest female sensation in

Contemporary Christian Music, Lauren Daigle, then you are truly

missing out.  This beautiful child of God sings with such passion and

conviction, that it tugs at your heart strings. Her lyrics are the

most beautiful, truthful and uplifting of any I’ve ever heard.

One of her songs, that will be released on her upcoming debut album

Lauren Daigle – How Can it Be, is my inspiration for blogging this evening.

If you haven’t listened to Lauren Daigle’s new release, “O’ Lord” you

are missing out.  It’s powerful, perhaps one of the most powerful

songs I have heard.

The Lyrics I will share with You Now:

Though times it seems
Like I’m coming undone
This walk can often feel lonely
No matter what until this race is won
I will stand my ground, where hope can be found
I will stand my ground, where hope can be found

Oh, O’Lord O’Lord
I know you hear my cry
Your love is lifting me above all the lies
No matter what I face, this I know in time
You’ll take all that is wrong, and make it right
You’ll take all that is wrong, and make it right

Your strength is found
At the end of my road
Your grace it reaches to the hurting
Still through the tears, and the questioning why
I will stand my ground, where hope can be found
I will stand my ground, where hope can be found

Oh, O’Lord O’Lord
I know you hear my cry
Your love is lifting me above all the lies
No matter what I face, this I know in time
You’ll take all that is wrong, and make it right
You’ll take all that is wrong, and make it right

So right
Right, so right

I will stand my ground, where hope can be found
I will stand my ground, where hope can be found
I will stand my ground, where hope can be found
I will stand my ground, where hope can be found

Oh, O’Lord O’Lord
I know you hear my cry
Your love is lifting me above all the lies
No matter what I face, this I know in time
You’ll take all that is wrong, and make it right
You’ll take all that is wrong, and make it right

So right
Right, so right

This song touches my heart because I can personally relate
to every lyric as she sings and gives God the glory with the gift of
her voice.  If we are all honest, each and every one of us
should find that this song cries out to God, the hurts we have
as well.  In this day and time, there is much division amongst
people in general.  This division isn’t isolated to just non
believers outside of the Church.  This very thing is
happening amongst fellow Christ Followers IN Churches.
It’s a terrible thing to know that there are certain people
that hold ill will, bear false judgement toward the very people
they are fellow members and Followers of Christ with, amongst that
very same church.  I see it every Sunday firsthand myself.  There
are several individuals that will speak lies of you, and perhaps
it’s the guilt they carry inside, the burden of guilt and shame,
that makes them avoid eye contact or even saying hello to you. I still
struggle with holding my feelings on my sleeves.  However,
I have come to realize this behavior from certain individuals
speaks volumes about themselves’, their convictions and not mine.
I am personally in a situation with a few fellow church members, that have
tried to break me and destroy me.  I am not defeated. I have
a heart that might be too large, and have always struggled with
wanting to be accepted, my entire life. I forgive just as easily
as I love.  I don’t understand the behavior of others and
I’m certain I never will.
I know that gossip and division amongst Followers of Christ is the
battleground and playing field of no one other than Satan.
He whispers lies into ears and plays his games inside
the minds of the weak, because he knows their weakness.
It’s heartbreaking to see people let Satan do what he wants
through them, all the while , they are unknowingly doing the dirty
work of  THE ENEMY!
Too much gossip, backstabbing and isolation goes on in
more Churches, than we could possibly imagine.  Those who
aren’t strong enough to carry the hurt, leave the Church to possibly
never trust trying to find acceptance in another Church and may even
cause separation between them and God.  I don’t understand the need
to belittle and crush the spirits of a fellow brother or sister
In Christ. We all want the same reward when Christ returns.
An abundant life in Heaven worshipping our Heavenly Father.
Serving him together in fellowship with our Brothers  and Sisters IN CHRIST.
I don’t know about you, but I believe we will love each and
every person the same. God will not tolerate isolation, belittling, lies, gossip
and  division among His children in Heaven. If we treat one another this way on earth, do we really think it is Christ-like to do so?   There’s a simple answer to that
question:  WITHOUT A DOUBT, ABSOLUTELY NOT. BE THE
CHANGE  THAT SETS THE CYCLE THE RIGHT WAY.
There must BE
something done.  I don’t have the answers, only God
does.  I pray for God’s wisdom, discernment, and direction
daily.  I pray others do the same.
Listen to the song.  Meditate on it’s lyrics. You’ll find comfort
in it’s promise  and truth.
Until my next blog entry……
Love In CHRIST-
